We aim to dispatch all orders within 48 hours, but at busy times it can take 3-5 working days. Options for delivery are:
Standard Delivery - Most orders are sent out via Royal Mail with 2nd class signed for postage (estimated 2-5 working days); parcels over 2kg are sent via Hermes. This is free for all orders over £25, and costs just £3.99 for those below that.
Priority Dispatch and Tracking - Need it sooner? No problem! With this option, we will pick and post before any other parcels, and dispatch will be either via 1st class Royal Mail or Hermes Next Day (please do be aware though that we are unable to make guarantees about when items will arrive, as it is completely in the hands of the postie/courier once we hand the parcel over)
Need it REALLY fast? Contact us and we can set up a special delivery for you
Live overseas? At the moment, we aren't able to ship to EU countries outside of the Uk, but we are shipping as usual to the US. Please be aware though that we cannot send most pyjamas to the US due to the differences in labelling regulations between the two countries.
We use the most eco friendly packing option available to us for each parcel. Most clothing orders are sent with biodegradable (and therefore compostable) mailer bags, or those made from sugar cane.
Toys will be boxed either using packing sent to us or our own, made from recycled cardboard. We pack with paper or re-use packing materials sent to us. Tape used is paper based, except where parcels are too heavy for us to be sure that this tape will be suitable - sometimes we need to use a plastic alternative in order to ensure safe transit, but are always looking for other options.
Our goal is to make it as easy for people to return as it was to buy; we want our customers to feel confident that they can return items easily and for any reason at all!
You can set up a return using our returns portal at https://www.smallecosteps.co.uk/a/returns . This will provide you with a Collect+ returns label which you can pop onto your parcel and drop at any Collect+ drop off point, such as your local Spar. This fully tracked service costs £3.99 for any sized parcel (deducted from refund) but may not be the most cost effective for smaller parcels or clothing. You can return using any postal method, just include your order number. We will process your refund within 7 days of receipt.
If ever an item comes to you damaged, contains faults or isn't what you ordered, we cover the cost of the Collect+ return - please get in touch if you'd rather use Royal Mail.
Items must be returned to us unused and in the same condition that they were received, with original packaging and any tags still in place.
